About Us
Proudent is a startup born in 2020 in Italy as part of the entrepreneurship program Training for Automotive Companies Creation (TACC), supported by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The purpose of Proudent is to change the way in which people interact with their mobile phones while they drive, in order to promote responsible driving behaviours and help to reduce the accident rates due to distractions.
Mission
To develop a smartphone-based solution to reduce the phone misusage while driving while offering incentives to users to guide them into a more conscious and safe driving behaviour.
Vision
Our vision is the reduction of the accident rate in Europe given by distractions associated to the irresponsible use of the phone and the construction of a network of users that will have available important data about their driving behaviour.
